He worked with Pat Metheny and Joni Mitchell, and recorded albums as a solo artist and band leader. His bass playing employed funk, lyrical solos, bass chords, and innovative harmonics.

Lee was killed by his wife who shot him in a New York club in a band performance. There’s a documentary “I called him Morgan” released in 2016, from where I heard about this LP called “Cornbread’. I liked it so much I decided to make a version of this great LP ‘vinyl’ art design, you heard right ‘vinyl’… these pieces of musical art are meant to be heard in ‘vinyl’ LP.
