Description: The Banana Splits Adventure Hour was a children's variety show that ran from 1968 to 1970. Hosted by a pop group consisting of four anthropomorphic animals, the program included a variety of songs and skits, as well as several cartoon and live action series within the series. Each first run episode was an hour long, though they were cut down to 30 minutes in syndication, effectively doubling the number of episodes.
